Registration Documentation
To register your child in The Bilingual Bicultural Mini School, families must complete the Student Registration Form and provide a few important documents to support the enrollment process. These requirements help the school verify student information and ensure proper placement.
Families will need to provide proof of the child’s age using one of the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- Passport
- Record of baptism
In addition, two proofs of address are required. These documents must be dated within the last 60 days and may include:
- Utility bill (gas, electric, or cable)
- Lease agreement, deed, or mortgage statement
- Property tax bill
- Official correspondence from a government agency
Schools also require a record of your child’s immunizations. This should be an official document that shows the student’s vaccination history.
If your child receives special education services, please provide any applicable documents to ensure proper support is in place, such as:
- Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- 504 Accommodation Plan
It is important to know that NYC public schools do not require proof of citizenship or immigration status for enrollment. Additionally, students living in temporary housing, including shelters or shared housing situations, have the right to enroll immediately even if they are unable to provide all of the documents listed above.
